Starting evening of the academy

Every year, part-time arts education (DKO) is highlighted during the Day of the Academies. In Brussels, on the eve of this day, a collaboration between all academies is traditionally organised. Each year, a different academy takes the lead in organising the event. This year, it is the turn of Sint Lukas Academy Brussels. The aim of this evening is to highlight part-time arts education in Brussels (SPOKEN WORD, DANCE, VISUAL ARTS, MUSIC) through a programme presented by students from the 11 Dutch-speaking academies. As is customary, many politicians attend, along with distinguished guests from Brussels, the VGC, etc., and some speeches are also given by them. The evening starts around 7:00 PM and ends two hours later with a reception.
