Our day-to-day life mostly consists of routines that create a feeling of stability. Repetitive life patterns, predictability and economic balance secure conditions for comfort for the average European citizen. From time to time, the echoes of other realities beyond our borders slip through our smartphone screens without any real sensible effect.

A radical shift in the geopolitical order has accelerated the emergence and intensification of conflicts worldwide. As war tears through ecosystems, erases cities, and destabilizes economies, it becomes urgent to reflect on how our lives and toolkits might adapt to these changing contexts.

In the coming AGORA, we are inviting you to learn and discuss together the role of architects during times of conflict and war, looking from the perspective of the Ukrainian context during the russian invasion.

How can we, as architects, mediate practice in times of uncertainty?

How do radical events reshape architectural practice and it's priorities?

What kinds of professional tools and skills can be useful in wartime?
