IEB and BRAL invite you to discover what lies in the black box of Brussels urban planning. The workings of Brussels urban planning are proving to be a real headache for residents, and the public's voice is only heard at the end of the process, often too late, in the form of a public enquiry and a consultation committee. New forms of negotiation between public and private players have emerged in recent years prior to the public enquiry: project meetings and, more recently, "project lines" or "Urban Ruling". What is the role of these tools? How do they work together and what impact do they have? What room is left for citizen participation?

An evening/debate with Kristiaan Borret (BMA), François Timmermans (Urban.brussels) and Benoît Périlleux (President of the CRD) on Wednesday 15 May at 7pm at Track, 76 rue du Progrès (entrance via the North Station hall).
